Before installing your AutoKitShop LED kit in the Daewoo Lacetti, gather the right tools and prepare properly.
What Is a Lacetti Interior LED Light Kit?
A Lacetti interior LED light kit is a set of direct-replacement bulbs that swap into the factory dome, map, reading, vanity, trunk, glove-box and footwell sockets without cutting or rewiring. AutoKitShop lists 8 Lacetti LED kits covering model years 1997 to 2024. Each bulb is rated at 300 lumens and roughly 3x the brightness of the original incandescent lamp, at a fraction of the current draw, with a 50,000-hour service life. Kits are supplied as complete sets with the correct socket adapters, so nothing needs to be ordered separately. If a bulb does not light on first fit, rotate it 180 degrees, because LEDs are polarity sensitive. Colour options are white (6000K), ice blue, warm white (3000K) and purple.
What Should You Know About Tools Needed?
Trim removal tool set, flathead screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape, needle-nose pliers, microfiber cloth.
What Should You Know About Preparation Steps?
Park in a well-lit area. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Lay out all 10 bulbs and identify each location. Have a small container for removed halogen bulbs.
How Do You Install LED Interior Lights in a Lacetti?
Start with the easiest locations (dome and trunk lights) and save the vanity mirrors for last. This builds confidence before tackling trickier trim pieces.
What Should You Know About Testing?
Test each bulb before snapping the lens back on. This avoids having to pry open the housing twice.
