What Is a Musso 2019-2022 Interior LED Light Kit?
A Musso 2019-2022 interior LED light kit is a set of direct-replacement bulbs that swap into the factory dome, map, reading, vanity, trunk, glove-box and footwell sockets without cutting or rewiring. AutoKitShop lists 6 Musso 2019-2022 LED kits covering model years 2012 to 2017. Each bulb is rated at 300 lumens and roughly 3x the brightness of the original incandescent lamp, at a fraction of the current draw, with a 50,000-hour service life. Kits are supplied as complete sets with the correct socket adapters, so nothing needs to be ordered separately. If a bulb does not light on first fit, rotate it 180 degrees, because LEDs are polarity sensitive. Colour options are white (6000K), ice blue, warm white (3000K) and purple.
What Should You Know About Give Your Musso the Lighting It?
The Ssangyong Musso is a tough workhorse of a ute — capable off-road, spacious inside, and built to take a beating. But like most Korean-market trucks, the interior lighting is an afterthought. Dim, warm incandescents that leave the cabin looking tired. Musso owners on forums and Facebook groups consistently ask: “Best interior LED kit for the new Musso?” The answer is the ZITWO 11-piece kit — and here's why.
What Is Included in the Musso 2019-2022 LED Kit?
The ZITWO 11Pcs For Ssangyong Musso 2019 2020 2021 2022 License Plate Lamp LED Interior Dome Map Ceiling Light Kit Canbus No Error covers every interior position in the Musso. Includes: front dome/map lights (2pc), rear dome/map light (1pc), vanity mirror lights (2pc), glove box light (1pc), license plate lights (2pc), 3 extra lights, and a free installation tool. All T10 (W5W/194) base — standard fitment across the Musso range.
What Should You Know About Performance That Transforms the Cabin?
At 300 lumens per bulb, you're getting triple the output of stock. The Musso's spacious cabin finally lights up properly. The rear dome light means back-seat passengers aren't in the dark. The glove box light — many Musso owners don't even know there's a bulb there until they swap it. The license plate lights get a clean white look too. Power draw drops to 8W per bulb, and with 50,000+ hour lifespan, you'll never touch them again.
How Do You Install LED Interior Lights in a Musso 2019-2022?
The Musso uses standard lens covers that pry off with the included tool. Pay attention to the festoon-style dome light — the metal clips may need a slight squeeze to hold the new bulb tight. For the vanity mirrors, the lens slides off sideways on some trims. License plate lights are accessed from behind the bumper trim on the Musso — a flathead screwdriver to release the tabs and the assembly pops out. All up: about 25 minutes.
Will LED Bulbs Trigger a Warning Light on a Musso 2019-2022?
Ssangyong's CANbus system is known to be sensitive with uncancelled LEDs. The ZITWO bulbs come with built-in CANbus error suppression — no flickering, no ghosting, no bulb-out warnings on the dash. This is the biggest pain point for Musso owners who've tried budget eBay kits and ended up with hyper-flashing license plates. The ZITWO kit solves it properly.
Which Colour Temperature Should You Choose?
Available in Purple, Warm White, Ice Blue, or White. White (6000K) is the most popular for that crisp modern look. Ice Blue adds a subtle custom touch. Warm White keeps it cozy. Purple for those who want to stand out. All covered by a 2-year warranty — AutoKitShop has your back.
