Attention:
A: Internal built in light sensor: high sensitivity, Must lock the car after getting off!
Otherwise, the automatic headlights consume power quickly!
B: External light sensor: independent component, easy to replace.
Manual adjustment of light sensor sensitivity for custom headlight activation settings:
1. Operation:
Cycle the headlight control button in the sequence AUTO → OFF → AUTO.
Repeat this sequence three times to set the third-level sensitivity.
2. Timing:
Perform when ambient light gradually dims in the evening
(approaching the threshold where headlights should normally activate).
For details, please refer to the video operation~

Q1: Where is the sense of light?
A: Light sensing integrated with optical head, next to the closed gear
b: External cable head with photosensitive head
Q2: Is the light still on after turning off the engine?
A: Yes. When the car is turned off, the Coming home function will turn on and the light will turn on,
At this time, there will be a reminder that the car door light is not turned off. After 15 seconds,
and the light will automatically turn off without any warning sound.
Q3: Why does the light switch keep turning on and off by itself in automatic mode?
A:This is because the sensitivity of the light sensing setting is too high, and this parameter setting can be reset.
Please refer to the function setting manual for specific adjustments.
Q4: Can all car models be upgraded to use light-sensitive switches?
A: Some car models (such as the low-end version) may lack the original light sensor and require additional sensors or jumpers.
Q5: How to confirm if a switch with light sensing is suitable?
A: Enter the VIN code to the VW official website for inquiry, or send the VIN to customer service for free confirmation.
