Installation Information

1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

2. Remove engine covers and accessories obstructing access to the camshaft gear.

3. Set the engine to Top Dead Center (TDC) for cylinder #1.

4. Secure the camshaft using a suitable tool to prevent rotation.

5. Loosen and remove the mounting bolt of the existing camshaft gear.

6. Remove the old camshaft gear from the camshaft.

7. Install the new camshaft gear onto the camshaft, ensuring proper alignment with the camshaft keyway (if applicable).

8. Install and tighten the new mounting bolt to the manufacturer's specified torque.

9. Reinstall removed components and connect the battery negative terminal.

10. Verify engine timing and check for any abnormalities during operation.
