Installation Information:

The electronic ignition module replaces the existing contact breaker points and condenser within the distributor housing. The module is typically mounted in place of the points base plate. Wiring involves connecting the module's power input to the coil's positive terminal and the module's trigger output to the coil's negative terminal. The module's magnetic pickup or Hall effect sensor interacts with a rotating magnet on the distributor shaft to generate a signal that triggers the ignition coil.
