Installation Information

Installation involves the following procedures:

1. Isolate the fuel supply system and relieve residual pressure.


2. Remove the fuel lines and retaining hardware associated with the existing injectors.


3. Extract the original injectors from the cylinder head ports.


4. Clean the injector bores in the cylinder head ensuring no debris remains.


5. Insert the new injector assemblies into the respective bores, ensuring mating surfaces are clean.


6. Install new sealing washers and secure the injectors with the original hold-down hardware.


7. Reconnect the high-pressure fuel lines to the injector inlet fittings and torque to specified values.


8. Reestablish fuel supply and prime the system prior to attempting engine start.
