1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

2. Lift the vehicle securely on an appropriate lift or jack stands.

3. Drain the transmission fluid.

4. Remove the transmission pan.

5. Remove the old governor pressure solenoid, transducer, and associated sensors.

6. Clean the valve body mating surface.

7. Install the new governor pressure solenoid, transducer, and sensors.

8. Reinstall the transmission pan with a new gasket and tighten bolts to manufacturer specifications.

9. Refill the transmission with the specified type and quantity of transmission fluid.

10. Reconnect the battery negative terminal.

11. Start the engine and check for leaks, shifting through all gears.
