Installation Information

1. Disconnect the vehicle battery before commencing installation.

2. Locate the existing Nitrogen Oxide sensor on the exhaust system.

3. Carefully disconnect the electrical connector from the old sensor.

4. Unscrew and remove the old sensor from the exhaust pipe using an appropriate wrench.

5. Clean the mounting threads on the exhaust pipe if necessary.

6. Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the threads of the new sensor, avoiding the sensor tip.

7. Thread the new sensor into the exhaust pipe by hand to prevent cross-threading.

8. Tighten the new sensor to the manufacturer's specified torque using a torque wrench.

9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the new sensor.

10. Reconnect the vehicle battery.

11. Start the engine and check for any diagnostic trouble codes.
