1. Disconnect the vehicle's battery.
2. Locate the upstream and downstream oxygen sensors in the exhaust system.
3. Unplug the electrical connector for each sensor.
4. Use a specialized oxygen sensor socket wrench to remove the old sensors.
5. Apply anti-seize compound (if required and not pre-applied) to the threads of the new sensors.
6. Thread the new sensors into their respective ports by hand to avoid cross-threading.
7. Tighten the sensors using the oxygen sensor socket wrench to the manufacturer's specified torque.
8. Reconnect the electrical connectors for the new sensors.
9. Reconnect the vehicle's battery.
10. Start the engine and check for any diagnostic trouble codes.
