Installation Information

The installation process involves the removal of the existing oxygen sensors from the exhaust stream and the subsequent installation of the replacement units. Sensors are typically installed into threaded ports located before and after the catalytic converters (Upstream/Downstream positions) on the for exhaust pipe assembly. Torque specifications provided by the vehicle manufacturer must be applied during tightening of the sensor threads. Electrical connectors must be mated to the corresponding wiring harness connections according to the vehicle's schematic.
