Installation Information
The faulty Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) actuator is to be removed from the rear axle assembly. The electrical connector and the mechanism cable attachment points must be disconnected. A new actuator is to be aligned with the mounting points on the brake caliper carrier. Fasteners are to be installed and torqued according to manufacturer specifications. The EPB cable is to be reconnected. Electronic calibration and diagnostic testing of the new actuator system are required post-installation.
