Installation Information

The pistons and ring sets are designed for direct replacement in engines equipped with the B48 2.0T configuration. Installation requires removal of the cylinder head and oil pan assembly. Old pistons must be extracted from the cylinder bores. New pistons shall be installed with rings oriented according to standard procedures, ensuring proper gap orientation. Components must be lubricated prior to insertion into the cylinder bores and seated using appropriate ring compressors.
