Installation Information

The installation process necessitates the removal of the front engine cover and timing case access panel. The old timing components must be removed after ensuring the crankshaft and camshaft are set to the Top Dead Center (TDC) synchronization position. Install the crankshaft sprocket first aligning the timing mark. Subsequently install the camshaft sprocket ensuring alignment marks correlate with the crankshaft mark according to service manual specifications. Tensioner and guide rails are installed last followed by reassembly of the timing case and verification of timing alignment via manual rotation before engine startup.
