1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2. Locate the VVT actuator on the engine.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the VVT actuator.
4. Remove the fasteners securing the VVT actuator.
5. Remove the old VVT actuator.
6. Install the new VVT actuator and secure with fasteners.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector.
8. Reconnect the battery negative terminal.
