Installation Information
The installation process necessitates the removal of the oil pan and the cylinder head. Connecting rods must be indexed to the corresponding crankshaft journal position where they were previously installed. The rod bearing clearance is set via the specified torque sequence applied to the rod cap bolts. Ensure correct alignment of the bearing shells prior to tightening. Post-installation verification of rotating assembly balance or verification against original specifications is required.
