Installation Information
1. Safely elevate and support the vehicle to access the thermostat housing.
2. Drain the engine coolant from the cooling system.
3. Locate and remove the bolts securing the thermostat housing.
4. Remove the old thermostat and O-ring seal.
5. Clean the thermostat housing mating surfaces.
6. Install the new thermostat with a new O-ring seal.
7. Reinstall the thermostat housing and tighten the bolts according to manufacturer specifications.
8. Refill the cooling system with the appropriate coolant type and mixture.
9. Bleed air from the cooling system.
10. Inspect for leaks and ensure proper operation.
