Installation Information

Installation requires the following procedural steps:

1. Disable the engine fuel supply system and relieve residual pressure.

2. Remove the high-pressure fuel line connected to the injector body.

3. Remove the securing bolt or clamp retaining the injector in the cylinder head.

4. Carefully extract the old injector unit, noting the orientation of the spray nozzle.

5. Clean the injector bore surface and install a new sealing washer/gasket on the replacement injector tip.

6. Insert the new fuel injector, ensuring correct seating and alignment with the spray pattern.

7. Install and torque the securing bolt/clamp to the specified manufacturer torque value.

8. Reconnect the high-pressure fuel line and bleed air from the fuel system prior to engine operation.
