Installation Information
Installation requires the removal of the cylinder head and oil pan. Piston rings are to be cleaned and installed onto the piston grooves according to the specified orientation. Ring end gaps must be measured and adjusted if necessary prior to cylinder insertion. Lubrication is required for the cylinder walls and piston skirts during reassembly into the engine block bores.
