1. Disconnect battery power before beginning.
2. Locate the existing serpentine belt tensioner assembly.
3. Release tension on the serpentine belt by rotating the tensioner pulley using an appropriate tool.
4. Remove the serpentine belt from the pulleys.
5. Unbolt and remove the old tensioner assembly.
6. Position the new tensioner assembly and secure it with the specified mounting hardware.
7. Rotate the tensioner pulley to allow installation of the serpentine belt.
8. Ensure the belt is properly seated on all pulleys.
9. Slowly release tension on the tensioner pulley to apply tension to the belt.
10. Reconnect battery power.
